Surprise!!!!! I am Pregnant!

We are totally shocked and surprised that we are pregnant on a break cycle! It is pretty early, but I have had 3 great rising betas (194,419,1181). We could have waited, although everyone has been so supportive throughout our journey we just couldn't wait to spill the beans! After all we have been though, we wonder how on earth we did this on our own!

Tentatively I am due July 6th, 2009. This date may of course change as we progress! My first ultrasound will be sometime after the 19th of November. We should see a heartbeat then.

This is truly a miracle, and we thank God everyday for giving us this gift. I would be grateful if you would keep us in your thoughts and prayers for a healthy pregnancy and baby!

We told our parents this past weekend, obviously they are all thrilled beyond belief!

Woohoo! We are having a baby!

Your embryo (looking kind of like a tadpole) is starting to form major organs (heart, kidney, liver, stomach) and systems (nervous, circulatory, digestive). Baby's presence in your uterus triggers production of hCG (the hormone detected by pregnancy tests)... which triggers production of other hormones like estrogen and progesterone... which trigger all those great symptoms you've probably been noticing!
