Growing like crazy, baby is starting to sprout eyes, ears, nose, cheeks and chin. Those little hands and feet- still webbed like paddles- might wiggle by week's end, the heart is beating (almost twice as fast as yours!), and blood is starting to circulate. He/She is the size of a sweet pea!I am 6 weeks today! I will update every Monday, until my tentative due date changes. We have our appointment a week from Wednesday for an ultrasound. It is an internal U/S so we should see the heartbeat flashing!
I have been feeling pretty good! Some mild nausea, I am nauseous one minute and starving the next! My boobs are killing me still, that was my first symptom and hasn't gone away. I have always been an emotional girl, however now it is worse. Stupid stuff makes me get choked up, thank you hormones!
We started talking about names, and wow....it's not easy! To think we have to pick a name that will be our child's name for life, a name that they must carry with them and succeed with. We have to make sure his/hers initials don't spell out anything crazy. We got a book, it is no help. It has over 60,000 names in it, but they names are horrible! Now when I look in the paper and wonder what a parent was thinking when they named their kid something funky, I can't blame the parent..... I blame the book!
We also decided to take a walk through Babys R Us.....just to get an idea of what we are up against! Yikes.....it was a tad overwhelming! We left thinking the baby should sleep in a drawer, play in a box and share toys with Sabre! Just kidding....but really Sabre does have a lot of toys that are currently all over the living room floor! It was a good trip overall, it is early enough that we may forget all about by the time we need to go shopping and register.

"Michelle" for a girl and "Michellino" for a boy. How hard is that?
