8 weeks (Raspberry)

Your baby is growing like mad, putting on about a millimeter every day and continuing to straighten out in the trunk. Though you can't feel it yet, baby is moving those little arms, legs and (now only slightly) webbed fingers and toes like crazy.


Bitty baby is putting mommy through some crazy "morning sickness", although I am thankful for every minute of it.......I am getting tired of reliving my 20's and feeling hungover!

I had my nurse chat on Friday, a lot of paperwork and handouts. I then went over to the ACM lab to have 7 vials of blood drawn. The nurse at my OB's office said they will continue to use the due date of July 6th instead of bumping it back 2 days, either of which is fine by me. I know not many babies are actually born on their due date anyways! So I will continue to update the blog on Mondays, or when I get around to it! I get another ultrasound next week too, can't wait to see the difference 2 weeks makes!

Not much has been going on, except for the last week of morning sickness.......which has no pattern of day/night. I was really sick Saturday morning and at night. Sunday I tried to eat every 2 hours which helped all day until just after dinner, then it was all over. I feel bad and try and keep as much in, Bitty needs nutrients to grow! The nurse have me some B6 vitamins to take that should help with nausea. They work, but they don't do anything for throwing up. The furry crew here seems to know I don't feel so hot, kitties sit on my lap and the pup is clingy too. The cats seem to enjoy following me the to bathroom too, what is up with that? I tell them to take notes.....I don't do it on the carpet!

I am so happy I only have a 3 day work week! I am really hoping to get to be able to enjoy some turkey and all the fixings on Thursday, and Black Friday shopping may have to be done online if I am still sick.
