7 weeks-Blueberry

Baby's brain -- both hemispheres! -- is growing fast, generating about 100 new cells every minute. Arms and legs are emerging as joints start to form, and a permanent set of kidneys (baby's third!) is now in place.

Aw, our little blueberry is growing up a storm! We have our ultrasound on Wednesday at 1pm, excited and nervous! I will update afterwords, hopefully we will see a nice strong heartbeat!

I mentioned before I was a little nauseous, well it was nothing compared to what Sunday brought! Yuck.....I finally lost it in the evening, couldn't fight it any longer! I hope it was just something I ate (baby might not care for chocolate pie!), I really don't want to feel that bad everyday! Of course I will deal with anything if the end result is a healthy baby!

I made our first purchase yesterday, probably a bit premature......but a major good deal! Target had the Britax Marathon convertible carseat for $43 (regularly $279!!!!!!) plus free shipping! I have no idea if it was misprint or error, but I scooped it! ***edited....my order was canceled, as well as everyone else who attempted to get the deal. Boo Target!***

I really didn't do much this weekend, relaxed and hung out at home. It was nice for a change!
My mom stopped over for a bit on Sunday with some goodies! She brought us a Precious Moments figurine, it was a expectant mother sitting and looking and a baby names book. It was so cute, I love it! She even has a little basket next to her with yarn and knitting needles in it, perfect! Mom also brought a sewing tape measure (to measure my belly) and steaks! Thanks Mom!

I will keep you all posted after Wednesday!
