Ah yes, 3 years ago I worked a fabulous 3 day work week. It then changed to 4 days, and last spring I even was flexible enough to work 4 days plus every other Wednesday. But this 5 day a week schedule makes me crabby, I feel like I have little free time. My ultra flexible self is ready to become very inflexible. I usually do what I am asked, however this seems to have made my boss assume I will always bend over backwards to work when she needs me. I need to start saying no I think, although she isn't always pleasant when she doesn't get her way.
The major issue is that DJ has to work Saturdays, leaving Sunday as our only day off together now. Either we do projects together that day, or we relax and do something fun. Owning a house provides a lot of projects, I really miss our townhouse sometimes!
I *think* we may try an IVF cycle in January. We are taking a much needed break until then, mainly due to my current work schedule and lack of flexibility for Dr appointments. Also I can't imagine doing IVF over the holidays, that is one stress I could do without! After a discussion with the Dr, she feels we are wasting our insurance monies doing all these IUI's. I guess if she is ready to move on, we should be too. This "time off" will also allow our recent treatments to catch up with insurance. This way I will have a better idea of how much is left, and how much will be needed out of pocket.
So, that is a condensed version of any updates I have. Overall my birthday wasn't bad, aside from turning another year older and not being pregnant. I received very nice gifts and spent time with my family. My little brother was home, we went to dinner and also hung out at moms for a couple hours on Saturday. DJ made me yummy brownies, we went to the casino and made a "donation". The celebrating continued all the way up until this past Sunday, which was my bday dinner at my dads. I asked for Grandma Baumans beef and noodles, and my step mom actually made it (since my dads heart attack 9 years ago, she makes very little fried foods or beef)! Yum!
This coming Sunday we are hoping to take Sabre to Letchworth for some hiking. We will see if the weather ends up being what is forcasted!
Enjoy the rest of the week! I hope to be a better blogger and post a little more frequently! I have also moved the furbaby pictures to a slide show at the bottom of my blog!
