We had an awesome weekend! We started out Saturday late afternoon speeding up to Buffalo for a 5pm dinner reservation. DJ was able to leave work early and made it home by 4:10, jumped in the shower and we were off! We made it to Buffalo by 5:20pm just before they would have given our table away at The Melting Pot.
The Melting Pot....Oh my, we have never been before but heard amazing things! Hot melted cheese, bread, and apples.......Fillet Mignon, lobster tails, pork, chicken, salmon, shrimp, and raviolis.........hot melted chocolate, strawberries, bananas, brownies, cheesecake, marshmallows.....It was all pure heaven! We were stuffed but managed to walk around the mall to burn off oh, maybe a hunk of bread! If you have never been, and have some spare money.....you must go! Rumor has it one will be coming to Rochester in 2009!
Sunday we did make it to Letchworth and had a wonderful day hiking with Sabre. We joined what seemed like the rest of western NY in viewing the gorgeous foliage (we thought the craft show folks would stay on that end, nope). Sabre was beat and slept all the way home. Letchworth is less than an hour away, I have no idea why we don't go more often. I can never get over how breathtaking the view is, absolutely amazing!
This week brings work, work, and more work. My dad will be joining us for pizza Wednesday night, and helping us get an idea of how much fence we need to make the horrid neighbor behind us disappear. Dad has also said he would help put the fence up, yay! The fence trumps building a shed this year.
Thursday I have to work nearly 12 hours, that is a long day in nanny land!
Saturday I am joining my mom, aunt, and cousin for dinner. We may watch SATC, and learn how to knit a scarf! Hopefully we will have so much fun that this GTG (get together) will become regular. Busy schedules never leave enough time with family, which is sad when we all live in the same county!

I remember reading this post and noting that you seemed hormonally inspired while describing your weekend.
