My goodness, I never thought this day would come! lol It has been a very long week, so it is only fitting that I start this with some whining!
I have already put in 35 hours this week, add the upcoming 8 for today and that equals......Too Much! Remember, I am used to a 31 hour week! Boss was OOT for the week, getting the details about her and in turn my future hours. Before she left, she told me that she and her husband understood that having Wednesdays off was important to me. She offered to find someone to work the Wednesday shift for me, which was nice. But as much as I complain about working so much, I care about the kids more. The girls would be fine, one is in school all day and the other 1/2 day. Its the 2 year old that would be a mess, and I just don't think I can do it to him. He has hit the separation anxiety phase, and just like "preschool".....one day a week wouldn't ever allow him to adjust. Last week I was relieved by a babysitter one night (both parents were OOT), a sitter that they know very well! Poor kid was heart broken when I was leaving, walking toward me saying "my sanny (Sandi)" while signing "please". That kid sure knows how to pull at my heart strings! Anyways.....I just don't know that my sanity is more important than his. So, I told the mom that we could play it by ear. I want to see what she found out while she was OOT, and if it will truly be only 6 mos I can deal. Besides, Sabre is loving the 2 day a week camp schedule! The extra $$$ I am making allows us to send him an extra day (read: a tired dog is a good dog)!
Geesh, that was pretty rambly! Other fun stuff includes buying a row of arborvitaes for our lot line, they will look nice and more natural than a fence. End result will still be what we desired....poof, stupid mean neighbors vanish!
I learned how to knit...thanks Auntie B! It is fun, and I have about 10 inches of a scarf done! I knit during nap time at work, and it makes me giggle. I sit on the couch, and once their kitten is done messing with my knittin' she curls up on my lap. Knitting with a kitten sleeping on your lap is bliss. The only think that would make it better is to be home, doing the same thing but with a baby sleeping in a bassinet next to me......ahhhhhh what I would give!
This weekend is supposed to be crappy weather wise, lovely. We need to plant above said trees, we have a clam bake to attend (YUM!), and possibly an indoor/outdoor Halloween party to attend. Sunday some nesties and I are getting together at the movies to see The Secret Life of Bees, at least the weather won't impact that plan!
This is what happens when I don't update more often, my blog gets waaaaaay long! Oops! If your still with me, thanks for listening to me ramble. I am pretty sure this is how I sound when I get chatty too! Most of you are used to it, thanks for reading!
Have a great weekend, whatever you have planned! And don't forget......go get them boobies squished (If your old enough!). It is Breast Cancer awareness month!

Nice update! I agree with you - the knitting with the kitten/baby sounds wonderful! And have fun at that movie - I still have to read the book!
