Continuing the march towards normal proportions, baby's legs now out measure the arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Your fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably still can't feel the movements.
15 weeks and counting! Baby is getting big, well.....bigger than the apple seed s/he started out as!
Next week is an avocado! I am guilty of hold the "fruit of the week" up to my belly to see the size, yes I have done this in Wegmans!
My doppler is amazing, I just love listening to Bitty's heartbeat. The baby's heartbeat is very different that mine, I do hear both while listening for baby. My heart rate is usually between 90-100 (DJ thinks that is high, but it has always been like that) and Bitty's is usually between 155-160. I am not quite sure, but sometimes I think baby is poking back at the doppler wand. I guess it could be gas......but it occurs in the spot that I am pushing the wand in. It isn't unusual to start feeling baby movements now, it is a little early for most but not unheard of. Sometimes I think s/he gets tired of me poking in and goes to the back so I can't find it! If I pick up the heartbeat, it will then go away. If I wait in the same spot, it will come back really loud.....must be rolling and tumbling around in there trying to get away from the wand!
I am still getting sick, seriously....this is getting old! I am going on 9 weeks of this, Bitty needs to decide what s/he does and doesn't like. I have more good days than bad, so this is a plus!
Not much else to update! Our weekend was busy, or so it seemed! DJ was at work all day Saturday, and Sunday I went to a friends baby shower in Buffalo. She received so many nice things......it was a lot of fun to watch her open her gifts! Their baby is another miracle, she had 2 losses in 2008 before getting pregnant with this little girl. I am so excited for them, she and her hubby are very blessed.
Oh! My ultrasound that was scheduled for Feb 17th was moved up! We were rescheduled for feb 14th! That is also DJ's birthday! Hopefully Bitty will cooperate and show us what s/he is! What a cool day to find out and get to see baby again.
