"movin' on up........to the 3rd tri"

Title should be sung to the Jeffersons tune!

Better late blogging than never, right? I am currently 27 weeks 4days.......already in the 3rd trimester! Everything is great, although I do feel big. My back hurts a little if I stand too long, and I have started to get a bit of hip pain too....but nothing I can't handle yet.

Since I usually don't wear a coat anymore, comments from strangers have become the norm. I was in the pet store yesterday and a little girl was running around pushing a doll stroller and her mom said "Don't hit the mommy!" I looked around and realized she was talking about me! A couple weeks ago I was getting our mail and a neighbor was getting hers too, she reached right out and patted my belly. Um, yeah.....not cool. Please ask permission if you feel the need to touch me, but pregnant or not.....I will most likely say no!

We seem to have a cat (I think it is MaiTai) who is either sick, or pissed about the changes in the house. He tends to be a pissy cat when something changes, so I fear it is him. One of our cats is peeing in the spare bedroom, which has NEVER happened before! Thankfully it isn't the nursery, that door is closed. I am not sure what to do, I did pick up some special litter that is supposed to detect an infection. The box is upstairs, and has been used by more than one cat....but MaiTai was the first. The litter didn't change color, so.....I really don't know. I do have a Vet appointment scheduled for him on Monday, just in case.....but I don't know for sure that he is the culprit to begin with. Hmmmmm.....anyways, it must stop! There is nothing worse than cat pee on the carpet!

I completed my DIY wall letter project for the nursery. I think you all know what our baby boys name is going to be, but in case you don't..........we are naming him Ryan William. We both loved the name Ryan and agreed on it right away, and William is my dads middle name. I had to jump on the wall letter band wagon, but wanted something different.......so I did them myself (idea came from a 2nd tri nestie).

I put in a close up so you can see the detail. I cut up patriotic scrapbook paper and used Modge Podge to glue and seal them on, and outlined the letter with white paint. They are not perfect, but close enough to me!

Today I am getting my hair cut! I am very excited to go to this new hairdresser, it is a guy......who was highly recommended by some nestie friends.
Saturday we have our crash course birthing class. I have no idea what to expect, but I am sure it will be fun.
Hopefully we will have some time this weekend to work in the nursery! Last Sunday we put up a Rubbermaid closet organizer. So much more room in there now, for all his stuff!

Hoppy Easter!

I love you babydoll. Let me know how MaiTai's habits develop....I will adopt him if you need me too (smile). Nice job on the Letter Art too !
