29 weeks!

29 weeks today!

"Baby’s energy is surging, thanks to the formation of white fat deposits beneath the skin. (Have those kicks and jabs to the ribs tipped you off yet?) Baby is also settling into sleep and waking cycles, though -- as you’ve also probably noticed -- they don’t necessarily coincide with your own. Also this month, all five senses are finally functional, and the brain and nervous system are going through major developments. 15.2-16.7 inches and 2.5-3.8 pounds is an average "

Not too much is new, the pic below is the 28 weeks pic and sort of shows my new hair cut. They guy did a great job, now I just need to do a good job at styling it!

I don't think I mentioned in my last post, I passed the 1 hr glucose test! Yay! I was so afraid to fail and have to sit at that lab for 3 hours for the next test. The drink wasn't bad, cold and fruit punch flavored. DJ came with me and we sat for the hour listening to all the cranky older folks complain about this and that. The nurse called me last Monday to tell me my sugar was fine, but that my iron was a little low and to take a supplement. No big deal. I didn't know that calcium and iron don't work well together, I was told to take them opposite of each other. I guess my daily prenatal with a big glass of milk was redundant! I now take my iron right before bed with a small glass of OJ, which help it absorb.

Next weeks post should have almost finished nursery pics! We put up some wall decor this weekend, it is really coming together! I also got some stuff organized, mainly the kitchen. The cupboards are re organized and there is now room for bottles and such. we also cleaned up and cleared out the room that MaiTai peed in.....yuck. We had the carpet cleaning guy come, even he couldn't get it out! We ended up cutting the carpet and pad out in the spot he went, and covered it with a dresser. He is using the litter box we put in there too, so we hope he continues to use it.

Here is a pic of what I deal with every morning while getting ready, my water obsessed cats! The girls just lay here and wait for me to turn on the water. Jazmine will often lay in the sink and wait. I rarely turn it on anymore, Stella makes a huge mess and gets soaked! The other 2 like to drink, but she likes to play in it!

I love your new haircut - it's so cute! I need one soon, too, but have no idea what to do with it.

And wow to 29 weeks - nice job Ryan!
