1 down, 1 to go

Ah yes, the dreaded 2ww. I am in the middle of it, and the first half is always easier. I hope to keep busy the next week so it goes by fast. I always cave and test before the beta, I wish I could hold out. I don't know what is worse, not knowing and getting the BFN from the nurse on the phone.....or seeing that stark white test.

I had some major cramping last night, it is so hard not to get excited and think implantation! I have been told to visualize the egg implanting, I tried and ended up laughing at myself! lol
I have zero other symptoms as of today, which is fine. Last IUI cycle I had every one in the book, and got the BFN. The progesterone is known to mimic symptoms, so it's impossible to read into them anyways.

This past Saturday was the Upstate NY Nest Get Together, 12 girls came from anywhere between Albany and Buffalo. We all met in Skaneateles, had lunch at the Sherwood Inn and went on a boat cruise. It was a beautiful day, and every single girl was incredibly nice. I have some fun pictures, I will share when I get a chance (and not blogging from work). It was super to finally meet everyone, hopefully we can make this happen more often!

Tomorrow we are headed to the NYS Fair! I am childishly excited, when we got up this morning I said "one more sleep until the fair!". I love the stinky smells, the greasy food, the people watching, and all the free pens we come home with! We go every year, wouldn't miss it for the world! Only bummer this year, is no wine slushies. I am not supposed to drink during treatments, I am to assume I am pregnant until proven otherwise. Boo.

Saturday I am helping my mom with some moving, and Sunday is our holiday party at my dads. We get together (me, DJ, Dad, step mom, step sister and her family, and step brother and his gf come home) on Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor day for yummy "surf and turf". We also have a camp fire complete with s'mores after a game of bocce ball. It's great fun, we do it on Sunday as no one has to work early Monday.

Hopefully these events will keep my mind off the rest of the 2ww! If you read this, could you also think good thoughts for a fellow nestie? She is scheduled to have her IVF transfer on Thursday, pray for at least one sticky bean! We are pulling for you hun!

Hey there girlie! It certainly sounds like you have some fun things planned to make the rest of that dreaded 2WW go by quickly! How was the fair? One of my favorite parts are the animal barns (besides the food of course!).

And I absolutely hear you on the testing vs. waiting for the results. I didn't test last cycle and the BFN from the nurse was awful. But I'm not sure I'll be able to get myself to test this cycle either. Either way, I wish you the best of luck!
