This little boy is very active early in the morning, I am always feeling pokes and prods while laying on my side in bed. Usually when I put DJ's hand in the spot, he stops kicking! This morning it was kick (or fist?) after kick in the same spot, I woke DJ up and put his hand on the area......"did ya feel it?, and that?, and that??????" He finally did! I was pretty excited, I too have only felt a few from the outside so far. I feel tons from the inside, some swift kicks and many flutters way down low.
I missed the week 21 update, I posted an updated pic on my message boards but not here.....oops! I will post a week 22 pic next week! Can you believe it, just over 18 weeks left! Wow!
I had my monthly OB appt this past Tuesday. I liked the Dr this time, still rotating Drs to meet as many as possible before delivery. I complained about the horrid reflux and cough I still have. The wonderful woman gave me a script for Nexium (low dose)! She said the reflux often causes a chronic cough. She also said the reflux is common in petite girls, baby is pushing up on my stomach. Everything else was great. Weight gain was good, baby's heartbeat was thumping away at 160 bpm. She went over our u/s notes, baby is in the 68%ile for size.....nice! He also has zero soft markers for downs, great news!
I have taken the Nexium since Tuesday night, it is amazing! I feel so good all day long! No more pain, no more coughing until I gag, and sleeping great! I still have a cough that is more of a tickle, that should go away as things heal and get un-inflamed.
Our crib mattress should be delivered today according to UPS, things are coming along! We finished and cleaned up the registries, it ended up a lot easier than first thought! We know what color we want to paint his room, and his closet is cleaned out with nothing but his things in it.
Stay tuned for updated belly pics! When I stand up straight and look down, I see belly and not my feet! DJ says it looks like I swallowed a basketball!

How awesome is that that he got to feel the baby! I cannot wait until I feel this little one for the first time. It just has to be so special. :-)
And yay for drugs and feeling better. It must be such a relief - for you and DJ both! lol
Can't wait to see pics of your nursery. I haven't even begun to think about that stuff yet - I should start looking for inspiration, eh? lol
