Sorry for missing the update last week! I will get an updated pic up soon too! We have been pretty busy, mainly with work.......I really need to do something about that! haha
Lets see......not sure what is new! Two Saturdays ago we drove up to Buffalo to visit my friend Melissa and her new addition! Her new baby is so beautiful, such a little peanut! I held that little bundle nearly our whole visit, she is such a good baby. The little boy in my belly was kicking away at her butt as I held her, it was pretty funny! We left and headed over to the Melting Pot for dinner.....as usual it was delicious!
Last Saturday (DJ worked the past two Sundays instead) we went back to the Buffalo area (Clarence) to go to a Baby Expo. It was ok, not really worth the drive.....but we did get some freebies. Sunday I cleaned the house from top to bottom, started my seeds for the garden this spring, and then my mom came over for a bit to visit. Next weekend DJ is back to having Sundays off, so we hope to start painting the nursery! We picked up some letters for the wall, I saw a cool DIY project and hope to make his name letters match his room decor. I can't believe I only have 16 weeks left!
My baby boy is very active! Some of his kicks are so hard, we can already see them from the outside. I could sit and watch my belly for hours, it is so cool. I love that he seems to poke back when I poke at him! At 24 weeks, he is approx. 1lb and 12 inches long. I am still feeling great (thanks to the Nexium), a bit of back pain at night....but nothing I can't deal with!
Happy St. Patricks Day!
